makes 2-4 cocktail glasses
Ingredients: 1/2 cup (125 ml) coconut milk, 1 cup (250 ml) cold water, 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced, 2 cups (500 ml) frozen blackberries, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chia seeds, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey, freshly squeezed juice of 1 orange, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) almond butter
Instructions:In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour healthy mixture into cocktail glasses. Serve Immediately.
Frozen Blackberry Banana Chia Seed Smoothie with Basil
makes 1 serving
Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced, 3/4 cup (180 ml) water, 2/3 cup (160 ml) frozen blackberries, 1/2 cup (125 ml) crushed ice, 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh basil leaves, 2 soft Medjool dates, pitted, 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions: In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a cocktail glass. Serve immediately.
Frozen Blackberry Banana Chia Seed Smoothie with Cabbage and Greek Yogurt
Ingredients: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chia seeds, 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen blueberries, 2/3 cup (160 ml) shredded red cabbage, 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen cranberries, 1/2 medium frozen banana, peeled and sliced, 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen blackberries, 1 cup (250 ml) water, 1/2 cup (125 ml) Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup (60 ml) frozen raspberries
Instructions: In a blender, combine all ingredients. Mix until smooth. Pour into cups or cocktail glasses. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
