Instant Pot Cooked Farro Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) farro
- 4 cups (1 L) vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Place farro in a large dip bowl. Cover with 2-inches (5 cm) water. Using a colander drain. Repeat until water is clear.
Place rinsed farro in a 6-quart (6 L) electric pressure cooker. Cover with 4 cups vegetable broth. Stir in salt.
Cover the pot and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. Set the timer to cook for 10 minutes.
Using the Natural Release method, bring pressure to normal.
Carefully unlock and open the lid. Using a colander, drain cooked farro, then transfer to a serving plate.
