Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled and chopped Granny Smith apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions

In a small mixing bowl, combine chopped apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

Allow it to sit for 30 minutes.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix well to incorporate.

Pour the apple mixture into the bowl of the flour mixture.
