Pressure Cooker Baked Hot Chicken Wings Recipe
Makes 4 servings, Ingredients: For the Dry Rub: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) onion powder, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chili powder, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) freshly ground black pepper, 3/4 tablespoon (12 ml) sea salt, 3 pounds (1.44 kg) chicken wing drumsticks, 1 cup (250 ml) water, 1 cup (250 ml) chicken wing sauce
Instructions: In a small mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Mix well. Place chicken wings in a large bowl and add the dry mixture. Toss well.
Arrange a round metal rack at the bottom of your pressure cooker. Pour 1 cup (250 ml) water in the pot, then arrange seasoned chicken wings evenly on the metal rack.
Cover the pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. Set timer to cook for 15 minutes.
Open the pot, using the Quick Release method. Carefully unlock and open the lid, the set a baking rack on top of a baking tray. transfer baked chicken wings on the top of the baking tray and broil on high for 10 minutes, turning wings once.
Turn off the cooker. Using tongs, remove baked hot chicken wings from the pot and transfer to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over and toss well. Serve hot.
Ingredients
- 20 chicken drumsticks
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- paprika
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F (175º C). Place chicken wings in a baking pan.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the olive oil and crushed garlic. Mix well, then spoon the mixture over the wings. Sprinkle chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, then carefully turn them over and sprinkle the other side with seasoning. Continue roasting for a further 45 minutes, turning every 15-20 minutes.
Remove baked hot chicken wings from the oven and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot.
