Air fryer Parmesan potato wedges. Parmesan wedges are crispy and aromatic. They’re also a healthier alternative to deep-fried potato wedges. The air fryer cooks the wedges in half the time, while they’re nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
Why are Air Fryers So Popular Right Now?
Air fryers are gaining popularity because they are a healthier way to cook. Air fryers use lower temperatures and less oil to cook food, which makes them a perfect choice for people who want to eat healthy without sacrificing taste or texture.
Air fryers also have the advantage of being able to cook food faster than other cooking methods. They can be used in the oven, on the stovetop, or even outdoors.
Many people are using air fryers for their health benefits because they use less oil and don’t require preheating as other cooking methods do. The lower temperatures also make it easier for people who have children or pets in the house because they don’t need to worry about burning their hands while handling hot pans.
How to Make Air Fryer Parmesan Potato Wedges
Ingredients: Potatoes, Cheese, Flour, Canola Oil, Salt, Garlic Powder, Parsley
Instructions: Rinse potatoes and cut them into wedges. Place on a paper towel-covered plate. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 30 minutes in an empty bowl.
Drain the potato water from the bowl.
Mix flour and salt in a separate bowl and season potatoes with garlic powder.
Pour canola oil into a small dish.
Heat up the air fryer to 375 degrees F using a medium setting for about 10 minutes or until oil is ready to be used in the air fryer.
With one hand on the handle of the air fryer and another hand holding the basket over it, carefully put wedges into the hot oil so they don’t float up or burn. Using your other hand, gently toss potatoes to get them evenly covered in oil. Be careful not to catch yourself on fire! After about 4 minutes, flip wedges with tongs and cook for another 4 minutes.
When potatoes are mostly cooked, sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Place into the oven on broil setting until cheese is melted (2-3 minutes).
