Sticky Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe
- 4 tablespoons (60 ml) thick honey
- 4 tablespoons (60 ml) Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons (60 ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) mustard seeds
- grated zest and squeezed juice of 2 lemons
- 12 chicken wings
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, mustard, olive oil, mustard seeds, lemon zest and juice. Mix well.
Place the chicken wings in a ceramic ovenproof dish and season with salt and black pepper.
Pour the honey-mustard mixture over seasoned wings and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Preheat an oven to 400º F (200º C). Remove marinated wings from the refrigerator and arrange on a grease baking sheet.
Roast, basting with marinade occasionally, for 20-30 minutes or until chicken wings are golden brown and cooked through.
remove baked chicken from the oven and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot.
